Provence Aero & Industry 4.0 Business Tour for German aerospace companies
Provence Promotion is pleased to welcome a delegation of German companies to the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolitan Area. The program includes visits to different facilities and meetings with local sector stakeholders. The two-day visit on March 22 and 23, organized with the Franco-German Business Club of Provence (CAFAP) under the banner of the Provence Aero & Industry 4.0 Business Tour, is aimed at German companies in the aeronautics sector. Two renowned German competitive clusters and a dozen companies expressed an interest in this tour of the local ecosystem, during which they will be looking to set up new partnerships and studying the seeding programs available in Provence.
Provence is establishing itself as a reference in the sectors of the future, with the presence of key international clients and the region's participation in major R&D programs. It's an approach that caught the attention of the delegates, including the representatives of the BavAIRia and Hamburg Aviation competitive clusters and their members.
Airbus Helicopters, TEAM Henri-Fabre and Daher have agreed to open their doors to the delegation for the occasion. The program also includes a presentation of the SAFE Cluster, specializing in global security, and SAFRAN Aircraft Engines, a division of the leading international high-tech group, leading supplier to the aerospace and defense sectors.
The German Consul, several German-owned companies present in Provence and local stakeholders, who can testify to the region's attractiveness, have been invited to exchange over a dinner event with the aim of promoting the region and encouraging investment projects and future partnerships.
With TEAM Henri-Fabre, aerospace companies and manufacturers can take advantage in Provence of the momentum created in the fields of mechanical engineering and materials and processes of the future, skills for which this Provence Aero & Industry 4.0 Business Tour is providing a showcase.
