Record Passenger Numbers at Marseille-Provence Airport

Seven and a half million passengers passed through Marseille-Provence airport in 2010, a 3.2% increase on the 2009 figures for traditional and low-cost carriers combined, with the latter sector reporting growth of 9%.
In the freight sector, Marseille-Provence edged Toulouse in the race for leading regional hub, with overall net traffic figures up to 52,179 tonnes, due in particular to express parcels, with companies such as TNT, UPS, DHL, Fedex and Chronopost performing well.
