Through this competition, MedVentures wants to contribute to these start-ups' development by giving them an international showcase and by providing opportunities for partnerships with investors and potential business partners.
Provence Promotion, sponsors of the operation
As a partner of the Anima Investment Network for other events, it was the economic development agency's duty to act as sponsor for this operation.
In line with its ongoing involvement in supporting enterprise creation and set-up, for example via its Home Sweet Home and Start In Provence programs, Provence Promotion is backing this Anima Investment Network initiative and putting its expertise at the disposal of the selected start-ups and of the business and innovation networks involved with MedVentures.
With the advent of the Union for the Mediterranean, which aims -among other priority measures- to reinforce and develop partnerships between clusters, Mediterranean basin hubs and SME's in the 43 participating countries, Provence Promotion has a role to play in ensuring the promotion and economic development of the Bouches-du-Rhône département and in giving it an international outlook.
