Provence Promotion Bound for OPTATEC

A business development mission will target this leading optics and photonics event

OPTATEC, as all-encompassing and forward-looking as always, is being held from May 22 to 25, 2012 at the Frankfurt Exhibition Center. The event, attended by Provence Promotion again this year, has been expanded for this edition with additions to its program.

The exhibition’s underlying theme of optronics –the study of the interactions between electronics and light- will retain its pride of place. This year, however,  will see the introduction of a new forum dedicated to “green photonics” that will raise new issues for the market and involve additional stakeholders in the field of research in environmental protection and energy saving.

A well-prepared sales pitch has been drawn up for this international show and several B2B meetings arranged with exhibitors on their stands. Our presence at conferences and product demonstrations will also be an opportunity to make new contacts. Our aim is to present what the Bouches-du-Rhône can offer in terms of infrastructure and scientific resources and thus highlight our ability to support and further R&D projects. Whether enterprises, investors or project carriers, all potentially interested parties will be targeted.
