Join in the debate on the future of medical devices in the light of the new European directives

The Eurobiomed competitive cluster, together with representatives from the medical and economic sectors, including Provence Promotion, invite you to the upcoming European Medical Device Workshop (EMDW), a day-long forum to discuss the evaluation of medical devices in Europe being held on Monday December 10 at the Palais de la Bourse in Marseilles.
 
Sector-specific updates to European Commission regulations are due to be introduced soon. The procedure for obtaining pre-market approval looks set to change to adapt to the new legal requirements.
 
In this context of change, the EMDW invites you to take a closer look at these directives, their expected impact upstream on certification authorities, manufacturers and sector companies and their probable effects on the market at a European level.
 
Clinicians as well as health sector industrialists will be able to express their points of view on the underlying notions of standards and competitiveness in round table discussions or workshops.
 
Several experts have volunteered to chair the debates, including representatives from law firms and specialists in corporate law as well as several from certification authorities and public bodies.
