The Go4BioBusiness Accelerator launched a new call for applications on February 15, 2018.

The Go4BioBusiness Accelerator launched a new call for applications on February 15, 2018 targeting biotech/biomed start-ups and developing companies with less than 5 years' existence located between Nice and Montpellier. Co-managed by Eurobiomed and Grand Luminy Technopole, Go4BioBusiness® is an acceleration program dedicated to fledgling health-sector enterprises in the southern Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region recognized as "high potential".

The winners in this 2^nd edition will receive strategic development support in the form of an acceleration of their project's upstream phases, particularly in the area of financing. They will be able to use all the services offered by the accelerator including:

• A made-to-measure, premium support program designed by a team of industry experts, investors and specialist consultants;
• Personal and individual assistance;
• A tailored action plan for the objectives to be met (seeding, fundraising, development…);
• An industry or investment mentor assigned to closely monitor the project for a period of one year.

The first, 2016-2017 edition, saw three enterprises take part in this regional program managed by the Eurobiomed Competitive Cluster and Grand Luminy Technopole, with positive results already being seen: €8.6M raised, 11 jobs created and several international contracts signed.
The arrival of a pool of partner banks consisting of the Cepac, Crédit Agricole Capital&Innovation and the SMC should further add to the program's weight. The deadline for applications is March 15, 2018.
