Thursday, June 6, 2019, meet in Marseille in the Euroméditerranée business district for a B2B day focused on the uses and deployments of the IoT. IoT Business Day is organized by ConnectWave, the national reference platform for Experimentation and Uses in Connected Objects, and La Coque, which will host the event in its hyper-connected space. Internet of Things (IoT) ambitions are the watchwords of this day where experts, key accounts and start-ups will be brought together.

Organized by ConnectWave and La Coque with the support of Engie, Euroméditerranée, Médinsoft and RisingSud, "IoT Business Day" aims to promote the applications and developments of the Internet of Things in 3 main areas:

  • Smart City for energy, transport and service management.....
  • Smart Industry, which is an integral part of Industry 4.0 or Industry of the Future,
  • and Smart Retail related to customer experience at the point of sale.

The event will take place on June 6, 2019 in La Coque, in the heart of Marseille's Euroméditerranée district, a privileged place for digital meetings that houses the ConnectWave platform dedicated to demonstrations of IoT and contactless solutions.

Sharing expertise and feedback

To understand the perspectives of the IoT, the event will be punctuated by conferences, workshops and discussion sessions led by experts.

Through concrete examples, participants will perceive the development and growth opportunities of the IoT with a potential that strongly resides in professional uses, whether at the heart of business or production processes. Guillaume Imbert Relationship Manager Digital Accelerator Internet of Things at Airbus and Alain Desandré, Head of Smart Solutions at GRDF will testify to this.   

Start-ups and large groups working together on bilateral projects will meet side by side, some of them within the exhibitor area, which will include around 20 companies.
