"Companies meeting" Optics and Photonics in Marseille

Provence Promotion, in partnership with the Marseille Provence Métropole Urban Community, Optitec-Popsud and Marseille Innovation, is organizing a B2B event for companies in the optics and photonics industry to be held on September 5 and 6 2013.  

The first day will provide a mixture of business and culture with:  
- a visit to the “Lumières” exhibition at the Palais Longchamp;
 - a conference on the theme “Marseille Provence -  From light to business: What are the opportunities available?” 
- a conference on Marseille-Provence 2013;
- an evening at the Château d’If in the presence of representatives from the local economy, innovation and business with the Groupe F company presenting an original fireworks display entitled “Revelations, Episode 5”.
The evening will provide a unique opportunity for participants to meet key industry players (manufacturers, laboratories, academics) and discuss the region’s economic development in an informal atmosphere.  

The second day starts with breakfast at the Hôtel Technoptic at Marseille’s Château-Gombert technology Park. At the instigation of Marseille Innovation, several companies established on the site will present their innovative work.  
The presentations will be followed by a tour of the Hôtel Technoptic, the regional home to optics-photonics-sector companies, with qualified B2B meetings tailored to the participating companies’ profiles.
