Business Development Mission to the Farnborough International Airshow

The Farnborough International Airshow, being held near London in the U.K., will be opening its doors from July 19th to 24th, 2010.

Organized on a biennial basis, the event will bring together a large number of exhibitors from the aerospace industry, from big corporations to SME’s, to exhibit their products and services and showcase their latest technological breakthroughs in ideal conditions.

The global aerospace market is of huge commercial importance and the organizers have pulled out all the stops for this latest show. The site will feature 90,000 sq. m. of covered space including four exhibition halls and conference halls, plus several outdoor areas that will be taken up with exhibits from all over the world.

In 2008, in excess of 130,000 industry professionals attended the show, with more than 1,400 exhibitors representing 40 countries.

The Farnborough International Airshow 2010 will be an excellent opportunity to develop business, which is why Provence Promotion will be attending as a visitor. During two days, on July 22nd and 23rd, the project manager for aerospace, Laurence Soldermann, will be meeting representatives of large corporations and identifying potential candidates for setting up in Provence.
