On February 9 2012 at the Palais de la Bourse in Marseilles, starting at 5 PM, engineers from the private sector, university researchers, clinicians and manufacturers will be gathering to debate on the subject of health data management, at the invitation of the Eurobiomed health competitive cluster and the Euromediag working group of public and private sector stakeholders in the South of France.
With the increase in data types, sources and dissemination channels, enhancing data legibility through the use of a standardized management system looms as a major issue for the future of medical diagnosis and personalized medicine.
The program being presented will therefore allow participants to discuss regional projects and talk to companies with activities targeting this specific issue.
The emphasis will be placed on interoperability and the need -for the sake of patients’ health- for data to be accessible to as many stakeholders in the medical world as possible, for comparison and operational purposes. An eagerly-awaited speech on this particular point will be that of Susanna Assunta Sansonne, team leader of the Standards and Data Sharing Infrastructure at the University of Oxford’s e-Research Center.
Provence Promotion, as one of Eurobiomed’s partners, will be present at the event to take advantage of the quality of information to be presented and to make new contacts.
