The International Optics & Photonics Show

The world-renowned Photonix Expo offers a series of high-level conferences and brings together several specialist events dedicated to optics, photonics and laser applications.

For this first business development mission to Japan, department head Laurence Soldermann will be attending the exhibition as a visitor in order to present the Provence region’s potential, the mission of the Optitec cluster, the Hotel Technoptic and the R&D  aid measures available for sector companies.

Two members of the Optitec cluster will be joining the mission: CILAS, a recognized expert in optics and laser technologies, and PHASICS, specializing in adaptive optics and laser metrology.

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (CCIFJ), partnering Provence Promotion, has drawn up a schedule of targeted business meetings. For the Bouches-du-Rhône’s economic development agency, which is deeply committed to promoting the optics-photonics sector in Provence, the CCIFJ’s support should facilitate meetings with the industry majors and help identify partnership and inward investment opportunities.
