Israel – 10th Go4Europe Provides Springboard for Provence Promotion

Following on from a number of visits by Provence Promotion to Israel, contacts continued with Israeli representatives from the life sciences sector at the recent Go4Europe conference in Tel Aviv on October 29 last.

Accompanied by expert Olivier Oullier, lecturer-researcher in neuroscience at the cognitive psychology laboratory at Aix-Marseille University and scientific advisor at the Center for Strategic Analysis attached to the Prime Minister’s office, Provence Promotion was present at the event to underline the attractiveness of the Provence region as the ideal location for health sector-related  companies to set up business.
The region’s status, in particular in the fields of medical devices and R&D is undeniable, with its world-renowned research teams, leading medical device companies and leading edge facilities providing solid references.

A major economic event in the Israeli economic calendar, Go4Europe is the ideal forum at which to meet Israeli and Mediterranean Basin decision-makers and investors. Last year, the conference attracted more than 1200 visitors and, for this 10th edition, Provence Promotion decided to do more than just attend and take part as a Gold Sponsor, thus providing the agency and the region with an enhanced visibility that should boost contacts.

Subsequent to the conference, Provence Promotion had organized a business development mission in partnership with Invest in France and Ubifrance that included several meetings with companies in Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem.
