Bio International Convention in Boston

The Bio International Convention is being held from June 18 to 21 in Boston. The previous edition of this event attracted representatives from more than 15,000 leading sector companies. Organized by the “Biotechnology Industry Organization”, an American association with over 1100 members Stateside and present in more than 30 countries, the event is the biotechnology industry’s largest annual convention. 

Once again, Provence Promotion will be taking part in the 6th edition of Fast Track R&D Partnering with France (FTRD) on June 18 organized by Ubifrance with the support of the DGCIS (the French agency overseeing competitiveness, industry and services) and designed to highlight projects involving partnerships with competitive cluster companies.

Provence Promotion will also be on hand at the Eurobiomed Competitive Cluster stand (number 1043). It will be taking part in a series of targeted meetings with sector players and presenting the technological opportunities offered by its partner SATT PACA, the technology transfer company representing the interests of the region’s universities.

For Matthieu Vis, life sciences project head at Provence Promotion, the objectives of this new mission are clear: set up as many meetings as possible with developing sector companies and present the advantages Provence has to offer in terms of hosting and financing biotechnology projects.
