The Pôle aéronautique d'Istres Jean Sarrail is part of the history of French aeronautics. Today, it is an international reference center for testing, measurement and simulation activities.
Istres is one of five sites in Provence for companies in this sector. The Mercure hall, where the exhibition will take place, provides direct access to the longest runway in Europe. Seduced by this exceptional site, the companies JJGK AERO and ARES have established themselves there. The AéroSud exhibition in Istres is an opportunity for Provence Promotion to organize the "Invest in Provence" label for each of these companies to reward their investments in the region and the associated job creation, which is expected to result in about a hundred new hires over the next three years.
Provence Promotion, whose vocation is to encourage companies to discover the assets of aeronautics in Provence, has helped JJGK AERO and ARES Aviation to become part of the ecosystem.
