Provence Promotion at Franchise Expo 2016 alongside the Marseille Provence CCI

Provence Promotion and the Marseille Provence Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be exhibitors on stand 05/07 hall 2 at the Franchise Expo show in Paris from March 20-23, 2016. This joint initiative is to ensure a quality service for visitors to the stand, who will be able to discover the many advantages the region has to offer.

The aim is to provide information on possible location sites and to offer potential investors a comprehensive support package for their project's implementation. Depending on the target clientele and business sector, support is available for, among other things, visits to locations and introductions to local intermediaries. With its 1.9 million inhabitants, 4 million tourists each year and 74,000  students, the region offers plenty of opportunities.

For its canvassing plan, Provence Promotion is targeting the major franchisors from the United States, Canada, Belgium, Spain and Italy. The agency is looking specifically for brands wishing to develop a master franchise system or foreign franchises with innovative concepts in the hotel trade, food and beverage, fashion or cosmetics and who do not yet have a French representative. The French market is attractive to foreign investors and setting up in the South of France is a shrewd move before expanding into the rest of mainland France.

With its Start in Provence program, Provence Promotion is also aiming at entrepreneurs in the process of changing career to an innovating sector through setting up a franchise. In 2015, 1312 franchise businesses were created in France; in 2014 the PACA region had more than 5000 franchise outlets.
